Lacey & Kelly Painter

Lacey and Kelly Painter are a husband-and-wife writing team from the beautiful foothills of southeastern Ohio.

Kelly is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner, while Lacey is a Paralegal and Human Rights Consultant. Although their professional careers focus on helping others, their greatest joy comes from family, creativity, and making lasting memories with their children.

Together, they are the proud parents of six children—five they hold in their arms and one precious child they will forever carry in their hearts.

Inspired by their children's endless imaginations, love of adventure, and curiosity about the world, Lacey and Kelly began creating magical stories that celebrate friendship, courage, kindness, and discovery.

Through their books, they hope to inspire young readers to dream beyond the ordinary, embrace their uniqueness, and believe that even the smallest adventurer can accomplish extraordinary things.
